Awards and Nominations

The 2003 HR Leadership Awards of Greater Washington include:

  • Human Resources Professional Excellence Award in four sectors

    • Large Commercial for businesses and for-profit organizations with more than 500 employees
    • Small Commercial for businesses and for-profit organizations with less than 500 employees
    • Government for local, state and federal government entities
    • Non-Profit for trade associations, public interest groups and other non-profit organizations
  • Community Service/Corporate Social Responsibility Award – In Honor of Sister Eymard Gallagher, RSHM
  • Ethics Award – In Honor of CACI Chairman, President and CEO Dr. J.P. (Jack) London. The winner will be selected from the nominations for the four Human Resources Professional Excellence Awards.

The deadline for nominations for the 2003 Awards has been extended to Monday, April 14, 2003.

Eligibility

Due to various titles across organizations and industry sectors, the nominee must be equivalent to, or assume the duties of, a senior level human resources professional.

Nominations may come from vendors, peers, superiors or other colleages. Nominations will not be accepted from those with a direct reporting relationship or self-nominations.

Nomination Process

  1. Review the Human Resources Professional Excellence Awards and the Community Service/Corporate Social Responsibility Awards explained throughout this site and decide which category or sector best suits your nominee.
  2. Download the appropriate Adobe .pdf file(s)
  3. Complete your nomination

    1. For the Human Resources Professional Excellence Awards Complete Parts III and IV.
    2. For the Community Service/Corporate Social Responsibility AwardComplete Part III.
    3. For the Ethics Award
      No separate nomination is required. The winner will be selected from the nominations for the four Human Resources Professional Excellence Awards.
